Camp Kappe main building

Dear Fifth and Sixth Grade Parent,

We are excited to announce that from Tuesday, November 5 to Friday, November 9, 2024, the St. Anthony School fifth-grade class will continue the long-standing tradition of attending Camp Kappe. This year, we are also inviting our sixth graders, who missed out last year, to join us for this incredible experience.

Camp Kappe, located in Plantersville, Texas, is an environmental science camp sponsored by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and open to the Diocese of Beaumont. We are pleased to have Mr. Snyder attending as the lead teacher and male chaperone, alongside Mrs. Barnes as the female chaperone. Your students will be in excellent hands!

This camp offers a wonderful opportunity for students to build friendships within their class and meet peers from other schools. They will enjoy a variety of activities such as night hikes, campfires, team-building projects, adventures, times of prayer, and delicious food—creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Please return all parent packet forms along with a check for $210.00, made out to St. Anthony Catholic School with "Camp Kappe" in the memo, by Friday, October 25, 2024.

We will depart from the school on Tuesday at 7:30 AM, with Mr. Snyder driving a rental vehicle and Mrs. Barnes accompanying as the teacher chaperone. Students should bring a packed lunch. We expect to return on Friday by 3:30 PM.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to an exciting adventure at Camp Kappe!

Sincerely in Christ,

Mr. Dave Snyder Mrs. Jessie Thomas
