Founded in 1929, the National Junior Honor Society is an organization that recognizes and encourages academic achievement as well as fostering the development of character, service, leadership and citizenship qualities.  7th and 8th grade students who have attended St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School for at least one semester are eligible for membership.  Prospective members must have a cumulative academic average of at least a 95 and will be evaluated by a council of Junior High faculty members in the areas of scholarship, character, service, leadership, and citizenship.
