- Our St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica Student Council is a state-recognized council that is active with the Texas Association of Student Councils. Membership consists of 9 officers and eligible members in 6th-8th grade upon application approval. (6th grade students can apply to join during their second semester at SACBS.)
  
  The purposes of the council are as follows:
  • To actively participate in the Texas Association of Student Councils
  • To serve as St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School ambassadors
  • To promote and educate the school community about drug, alcohol, safety, and health awareness
  • To promote and educate the school community about energy & environment awareness
  • To promote school and community pride and patriotism
