A Note From Our Principal

Felicia Runnels is a Lafayette, LA native. She received her bachelor's degree from LSU in Baton Rouge, LA, and her master's degree from Lamar University. She has 22 years of experience in education, and 20 of those years have been at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School.

Mrs. Runnels is our current school principal, but she held several positions prior to her current one. Mrs. Runnels has previously taught: Computer, Religion, P.E., 5th Grade, and Middle School ELA. She has also held the following titles: Public Relations Director, Technology Director, Middle School Lead Teacher, and Teacher of the Year. 

Mrs. Runnels says she tries to be an active participant in every aspect of the school. She enjoys interacting with students, teachers, and parents. She takes pride in having a large role in our students' education (spiritually, academically, and socially).
